My handstitched and beaded garters are each individually 'one of a kind'
As you might expect, my garters are handbeaded and and most are hand stitched and never see a sewing machine, the lace is hand applied, and then I use pretty beads to highlight the lace and to make your garter a special one off: when available I use antique lace and masses of tiny beads and crystal to make my garters specialieces, and perhaps you will one day pass on your garter to your daughter to wear on her special day...
I make two 'types' of garter; the Classic and the Heirloom;
A Classic garter has been designed to be affordable without compromising quality; each one is individual and will make a lovely accessory for you to wear on your wedding day. These garters are ready made and available for you to purchase straight away; they come to you in their own little keepsake box. If you are looking for something custom made incorporating special colours, beads or ribbons, jewels or silver charms or antique lace, take a look at Heirloom Garters...
Heirloom Garters are very special indeed; each one is individual and one of a kind, perhaps being made of antique lace or beads, incorporating your colours, perhaps a little jewel like a birthstone, a little crystal angel, teddy, or a cat or a silver charm...perhaps a dragonfly or a butterfly, and we can work together to make a custom made piece that is as individual as you...because each one takes hours and hours of work, they are priced according to the rarity of materials used and the hours put into them, and an Heirloom garter can be custom made (eg for smaller or larger sizes), or occasionally I have a ready made Heirloom piece for sale. When ordering an Heirloom garter, please allow at least 6 weeks due to the amount of handstitching and beading that goes into each one which involves a lot of intense, close work and I do feel that perfection should not be rushed!. Heirloom garters are presented in their own keepsake boxes and I hope will make a treasured something to pass on to your own daughter one day...

Although not for sale, this is the garter that I wore on my wedding day - as you can see it has pretty beading, soft lace and tiny pearl hearts and also a tiny blue crystal and gold angel which a good friend had gave me - this is an example of my commission work, perhaps you may have some little treasure or memento which you would like to have included in the work which means something special to you. |
