Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue...

Happy Is The Bride With A Sixpence In her Shoe...

Its an old rhyme, part of the wedding tradition, and a lovely one at that...I wore one on my own wedding day, a real English Silver Sixpence, a treasure you can keep forever and place in your wedding album, or perhaps pass on to a friend when their wedding day comes round...the silver sixpence is said to bring luck to the bridal wearer, signifying that the couple will never be short of money.

I made these presentation cards with silver envelopes and a wisp of ribbon. The card includes the verse on the front of the card, with the wording 'For A Beautiful Bride on Your Special Day!' inside - whether its for you or as a gift for a friend, it can be both your something old as well as your sixpence in your shoe...£6.50 INC.
