| When I got married, my husband and I had
a civil ceremony at a hotel, and I chose my Mum to be my 'bridesmaid'
- she wore a lovely outfit but we didn't feel a hat was right - so I made
her a pretty, sparkly hairband in colours to match her dress and jacket
to complete her look - I also made her a beaded flower brooch to fix her
scarf , and she looked sparking and fabulous - so Laura Hairband
was inspired by my Mum (who is called Jean, not Laura!!), and she still
occasionally wears it at Christmas and parties. I have also
given these as presents to friends, as they can be worn as chokers
with ribbon threaded through the loops at the end - top marks for versatility!
Laura Hairband is set on either silver plated or gold plated flexible wire, and is lightweight, strong and confortable, and the colour range is endless - I have seen it worn either as a conventional (Alice style) hairband by younger bridesmaids or, with the attendants' hair worn up, rather like a tiara for a more sophisticated and adult look - both ways are pretty. Its an affordable style and just provides the final finishing flourish for any age group. £45.00 |
