Eloise Heirloom Tiara
Heirloom Jewellery and Tiaras are constructed around a vintage or antique piece of jewellery...these are 'upcycled' and made into something unique and amazing for today's bride. These pieces are limited to the vagaries of availability and condition of old pieces of jewellery, many of which are a once in a lifetime find...this means that the probability is that this piece can never be repeated.
Eloise Heirloom Tiara is made on a comfortable handmade flexible goldtone base which won't pinch or hurt like machine made bands can. This unusual tiara stars an unusual 1930's Swarovski crystal and Swarovski glass pearl multi-drop crystal brooch in old-colour crystal aurora borealis - Swarovski don't make this antique style aurora borealis anymore, the modern version, although lovely, doesn't have the richness of the vintage version. The showstopping fringe style detail now dangles gracefully to the side of the face.
The original old and past their best crystal pearls on the brooch were replaced with fresh Swarovski crystal pearls to match those featured in the rest of the tiara; the pearls move gently with the wearer.
The
tiara also features gold-lined rocailles/seed beads, goldtone wire and lots and
lots of Swarovski crystal, I built in little loops here from which I hung pearls
and crystal which move with the wearer; the tiara is the ultimate 'something old,
something new.
